This community is designed for both organisers and users of TicketKart. Share insights, discuss event planning strategies, and collaborate on creating memorable experiences. Build your network, enhance your event management skills, and make meaningful connections within the community.

You can ask any questions related to event planning, ticket sales, and using TicketKart's platform. This includes but is not limited to:

  • How to set up and manage events
  • Best practices for promoting events
  • Technical support for using TicketKart
  • Tips for enhancing attendee experience
  • Questions about payment processing and fees
  • Sharing and seeking advice on successful event strategies

Please ensure your queries are clear and provide enough context for others to understand and assist you effectively.

Before you ask - please make sure to search for a similar question. You can search questions by their title or tags. It’s also OK to answer your own question.

Please avoid asking questions that are too subjective and argumentative or not relevant to this community.

To keep the TicketKart Community helpful and focused, avoid asking the following types of questions:

  • Subjective Questions: Questions where every answer is equally valid, such as “What’s your favorite event venue?”
  • Answered Questions: Questions where your answer is provided along with the question, expecting more answers, such as “I use TicketKart for ticketing, what do you use?”
  • Non-Problematic Questions: Questions with no actual problem to be solved, such as “I’m curious if other organisers feel like I do.”
  • Hypothetical Questions: Open-ended, hypothetical questions, such as “What if all events became virtual?”
  • Rants: Questions that are rants disguised as queries, such as “The new interface sucks, am I right?”

If your motivation for asking the question is “I would like to participate in a discussion about event planning,” then you should not be asking here but on our mailing lists or forums. However, if your motivation is “I would like others to explain how to do something,” then you are probably OK.

Karma Points and Moderation:

When a question or answer is upvoted, the user who posted it will gain points, known as "karma points." These points serve as a measure of community trust. Various moderation tasks are gradually assigned to users based on their points.

For example, if you ask an interesting question or give a helpful answer, your input will be upvoted. On the other hand, if the answer is misleading, it will be downvoted. Each vote in favor generates 10 points, while each vote against subtracts 2 points. There is a daily limit of 200 points that can be accumulated for a question or answer. The table at the end explains the reputation point requirements for each type of moderation task.

The goal of the TicketKart Community is to create a relevant knowledge base that addresses questions and issues related to event planning and ticketing.

Therefore, questions and answers can be edited by experienced users of this site, similar to wiki pages. This is done to improve the overall quality of the knowledge base content. Such privileges are granted based on user karma level: you will be able to do the same once your karma reaches a certain level.

If this collaborative approach is not suitable for you, please respect the community and its guidelines.
